Yuko Nakagawa became a Shumei member on October 11, 1993 in Japan, and she has practiced Jyorei for almost 30 years. “Jyorei” means “purification of the Spirit.” She worked in the office at Shumei headquarters in Japan for four years. She came to the United States in 2009 and has been working for Shumei as a volunteer, participating in many healing events as a Jyorei practitioner in New York and Pennsylvania. As a farmer, she is also doing Shumei Natural Agriculture, which doesn’t use any chemicals or fertilizer.
