Total Time Commitment: Approximately 11 hours per month

About the Role

We are seeking a responsible, grounded, and friendly Onsite Supervisor to oversee our monthly
Holistic Healthcare Days in Stone Ridge, NY and Kingston, NY. This role is ideal for someone
who enjoys community-centered environments, can take charge when needed, and thrives in a
dynamic wellness setting.

The Onsite Supervisor ensures that the event runs smoothly, practitioners are supported, and
participants feel welcomed.

Local candidates strongly preferred.

Key Responsibilities
● Arrive on time to oversee site setup and room preparation
● Serve as the primary point of contact for practitioners, volunteers, and participants
● Coordinate schedule flow and ensure sessions run on time
● Greet attendees and maintain a welcoming, professional atmosphere
● Troubleshoot issues calmly and efficiently
● Support check-in and manage event logistics as needed
● Oversee clean-up and closing procedures
● Communicate any follow-up needs to program leadership

Qualifications
● Responsible, reliable, and punctual
● Friendly, approachable, and confident in leadership situations
● Comfortable taking initiative and making decisions on-site
● Able-bodied with the ability to help carry and set up massage tables at the event and
easily walk up and down stairs
● Strong communication and organizational skills
● Experience in event coordination, wellness environments, or community programs
preferred
● Must be available for one 6-hour shift per month in Stone Ridge, NY and one 5-hour shift
in Kingston, NY per month
● Preference given to candidates local to Stone Ridge and Kingston or the surrounding
area

Requirements
● Able-bodied and comfortable in an active event setting
● Have your own computer, printer, and smartphone
● Local to Stone Ridge, Kingston or nearby strongly preferred

Compensation is $25/hour.

This role is ideal for someone who likes being the steady anchor in the room — the person who
keeps things flowing while everyone else focuses on healing work.

Treasurer

The Treasurer is a voting member of the Board of Directors and serves as the principal financial officer of the organization. In addition to general board responsibilities, the Treasurer oversees the organization’s financial policies, budgeting, reporting, and compliance to ensure transparency and long-term financial sustainability. Responsibilities of the Treasurer

  • Attend and actively participate in all board meetings.
  • Provide strategic guidance and oversight in alignment with the organization’s mission.
  • Actively participate in committee work and organizational planning.
  • Uphold fiduciary duties: duty of care, duty of loyalty, and duty of obedience.
  • Chair the Finance Committee and/or lead financial planning and oversight efforts.
  • Review and present monthly and annual financial reports to the board.
  • Ensure that accurate financial records are maintained and that proper financial controls are in place.
  • Lead the development of the annual budget in collaboration with the Executive Director and the Finance Committee.
  • Oversee and guide the organization’s investments and reserve funds (if applicable).
  • Ensure timely and accurate filing of annual IRS Form 990 and any required state financial reports.
  • Work with the external auditor (if applicable) to facilitate annual audit or financial review.
  • Provide financial analysis and insight for strategic decisions and risk management.

Treasurer Qualifications

  • Experience in accounting, finance, or related fields (CPA or MBA preferred but not required).
  • Familiarity with nonprofit financial management and reporting.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills.
  • Comfortable with reviewing and interpreting financial statements and budgets.
  • Demonstrated commitment to the organization’s mission and values.

Term and Commitment

  • Term length: 1 or 2 years, renewable upon board approval.
  • Estimated time commitment: 5 – 10 hours per month, depending on the fiscal calendar and budget cycle.
  • Active participation in board meetings, Finance Committee meetings, and budget reviews is expected.

Compensation

This is a volunteer, unpaid position. Reasonable expenses incurred while fulfilling board duties may be reimbursed. 

 


 

Attorney

The Attorney serves as a voting member of the Board of Directors and provides governance, strategic direction, and fiduciary oversight for the organization. Responsibilities of the Attorney

  • Participate actively in board meetings, about 5 - 6 per year.
  • Contribute to strategic planning, organizational oversight, and evaluation of executive leadership.
  • Serve on committees or task forces as appropriate, and take on special assignments.
  • Ensure the organization meets its legal, financial, and ethical obligations.
  • Advocate for the organization’s mission and represent it to stakeholders and the public.
  • Provide legal insight on governance, contracts, compliance, and policy issues, as needed.
  • Help review or draft board policies, bylaws, and other legal documents.
  • Advise on risk management strategies, including insurance, liability, and conflict-of-interest matters.
  • Support regulatory compliance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
  • Assist with internal investigations or legal inquiries, ensuring proper documentation and due process.

Attorney Qualifications

  • Licensed and in good standing to practice law in New York State.
  • Experience in nonprofit law, corporate governance, or related areas preferred.
  • Demonstrated commitment to the organization’s mission and values.
  • Willingness and ability to dedicate time and resources, including attendance at meetings and events.

Term and Commitment

  • Term length: 1 or 2 years, with eligibility for renewal.
  • Expected to contribute 2 – 10 hours per month, including meetings and committee work.
  • Expected to participate in fundraising or donor engagement activities.

Compensation

This is a volunteer, unpaid position. Reasonable expenses incurred while fulfilling board duties may be reimbursed. 

 


 

Fundraiser

The fundraising-focused Board Member serves as a voting member of the Board of Directors and plays a vital role in the organization’s governance and financial health. Responsibilities of the Fundraiser 

  • Attend and actively participate in board meetings, about 5 - 6 per year.
  • Help set and support the organization’s strategic direction.
  • Oversee financial health, organizational performance, and risk management.
  • Serve on committees or task forces as appropriate.
  • Act as an ambassador for the organization in the community.
  • Assist in the development and execution of fundraising plans and strategies.
  • Leverage personal and professional networks to identify and cultivate prospective donors.
  • Participate in donor engagement and stewardship activities, including thank-you calls, attending events, and one-on-one meetings with supporters.
  • Help secure sponsorships, grants, or in-kind contributions as appropriate.
  • Collaborate with staff and fellow board members to ensure fundraising goals are met.

Fundraiser Qualifications

  • Demonstrated success in fundraising, donor relations, or sales.
  • Strong network of potential supporters and the willingness to make introductions.
  • Comfortable soliciting gifts and speaking about the organization’s mission and impact.
  • Passionate about the cause and committed to advancing its success.
  • Experience in nonprofit fundraising, development committees, or capital campaigns is a plus.

Term and Commitment

  • Term length: 1 - 2 years, renewable upon board approval.
  • Time commitment: Approximately 6 – 12 hours per month, including meetings, outreach, and events.
  • Expected to participate in fundraising campaigns and major donor solicitations.
