We know how to accomplish so many impressive things; the conquest of deadly illnesses, the exploration of space, the harnessing of the sun’s energy, the development of Artificial Intelligence and so on, but inner peace often eludes us.

This should come as no surprise. We each hold significant competing forces within ourselves, along with various competing narratives about the world around us. We each seek to be our own best friend, while at the same time we desperately seek the acceptance and praise of others.

Often when we are trying to get an accurate understanding of things, or a sense of the right way for us to proceed, it is as if we are seated at the Thanksgiving table with a large group of relatives, teachers, and friends, all in conflict, all yelling at the same time trying to get our attention and influence our behavior.

Throughout our lives we are constantly subduing one side of ourselves or another, hoping to quiet the tension and find peace; but the suppressed side doesn’t just go away and it invariably calls out loudly for recognition. The challenge is to integrate all aspects of our being, while giving each one its due.

The mystical writings of Kabbalah offer a system that identifies the energy centers that comprise our inner and outer worlds. This constellation of forces provides a roadmap to navigate inner and outer conflict. It is a powerful tool to assist us as we choose among different life paths and balance competing desires and impulses.

Each of the energy centers that the Kabbalah identifies has a specific vocal tone associated with it, and by chanting that sound with your own voice, along with a specific intention, you will have a powerful meditative tool to dispassionately examine arguments on both sides of your competing desires and inclinations.

The focus of this workshop is the clarity you can obtain in your life using the Kabbalistic vocal sounds associated with specific energy centers.

The workshop is experiential and topics will include:
· An experience of unity, inner calm and the support of the abundant universe through MediSounds® Meditation, the Kabbalah’s meditative system retooled for the 21st Century;
· The source of judgmental thought and behavior, and its impact on us;
· The blending of judgement with unconditional love to achieve greater self-acceptance;
· The value of listening;
· The acceptance and management of competing desires.
