Cornelia Wathen is a graduate of Wellesley College, where she majored in music, and Columbia Teachers College, where she specialized in Elementary Education. She worked as Executive Assistant to the Director of the New York University Graduate Institute of Film and Television for several years before becoming an elementary school teacher. Also a practitioner of energy healing, she is retired from teaching and has a private healing practice in Stone Ridge, NY. She is certified as an energy healer by the Barbara Brennan School of Healing, as a practitioner of Dynamic Stillness (advanced biodynamic craniosacral work), as a practitioner of Reconnective Healing and The Reconnection, as a practitioner of The Emotion Code, as a practitioner of Crystal Dreaming and as a teacher of Soaring Crane Qigong. She was the facilitator for a Course In Miracles group for 20 years, and a student of The Diamond Approach to Realization for 13 years. She is one of the founders of The Holistic Health Community, Inc., dedicated to affordable holistic healthcare and education in The Rondout Valley area of New York State.
